Letter from Wilfred:
I was born in 1977 in Maasailand, ARUSHA Region, the “Heart of Africa,”the “Mid-Way between Cairo to Cape town,”the “Gate Way to Tanzania Northern Tourism Circuit.”
I am a Maasai by tribe and I’m married and blessed with one lovely boy.
My interest in tourism began when I was watching the film known as “Serengeti shall not die”, produced by Michael Gzimek and his father Professor Bernard Gzimek, who did the research in the Serengeti Eco System and lost their life in wilderness !
That film inspired me to focus on wildlife After my O-level studies, I visited Serengeti National Park for one week in 1999. My trip to Serengeti became the most memorable trip in my life and directed me to the map of tourism & revealed all of my dreams!!
Therefore, in 2007 I joined the Tropical Center Institute which is a College of Tourism Management in Arusha. I graduated and got a Certificate in Tourism Management for one year.
After my studies, I worked with several tour companies here in Arusha as a freelance Driver / Guide.I joined 4 x 4 Adventures Ltd in July 2012. We love to go the extra mile to give show you our wilderness” I would like to be Your Guide on Safari.
‘You are warmly welcome to experience Tanzania!”
Karibu Sana
Wilfred.
